Unfortunately Breda lose 1-2, and was 0-2 until 95th min.

Garbett full game, and a yellow. Away leg in a few days

Breda lose 2-0 (4-1 on agg) so the promotion dream is over. Garbett off at 67 mins (1-0)

So he’ll get another season in the Dutch 2nd tier. Main thing is he’s getting regular game time now, after 2 years barely playing

Garbett subbed on at HT with Breda down 1-0. Breda concede a 2nd at 70 mins, but then come back with 2 late goals (2nd at 95 mins) to grab a 2-2 draw.

Breda win 2-1, but Garbett was forced off with an injury after only 23 minutes in this one.

Hoping it's nothing serious. 🤞

No Garbett as Breda lose 2-0.
Match preview from Breda website. Doesn't sound like a serious injury touch wood.

NAC
In the end, NAC managed to save a point from the game at FC Dordrecht and narrowly beat Young AZ at home. These four points mean that NAC is currently in fourth place. Ómarsson, Staring, Omgba and Van Schuppen are still in the rag basket. Last game Garbett and Martina also fell out. The duel with the team from Eindhoven comes too early for the New Zealander.

Game suspended at 70 mins with Willem II up 1-0.
Not the first time Breda fans have caused a game to be abandoned since Garbett joined them. From memory Willem II are their big local derby rivals.

All the Dutch I've ever met have been very mild mannered, educated, good people to be around. But there is obviously a bit of a thug element in their football scene. Still the throwing of beer cups, not the most dangerous incident ever seen on a football pitch.

Just a correction, NAC were up 3-0 and the game was suspended because of Willem II fans this time

Apparently Garbett rehabbing some sort of leg injury, and hopes to be back playing in a few weeks. Hopefully good to go for the AWs in October.

No Garbett as Breda lose 1-3.
Their form had been bad since his injury. Losing 4 of their last 5 games.

Really good news. Breda (16th) having been struggling a bit of late without him. Plenty of time however to go on a promotion push.

Edit - 19 yr old Josh Rawlins (ex Peth Glory) on the bench for Utrecht Jong. Wonder if there is still a Kiwi groundsman at Utrecht FC (Groundskeeper Willie?), who posted on here a bit in the past?

Garbett comes off the pine at 65 mins (Breda leading 2-1), in a dramatic 3-2 win. Breda's 3rd goal virtually the last kick of the game.

Grabett returns for their last 2 games (D & W) and their 3 match losing run is halted. Off to Spain with a smile on his face to link up with the AWs.

Yes starts, scores at 66 mins and then off soon after at 70 mins (2-1), as Breda win 3-1. They stay 9th.

Garbett off at 63 mins with Breda trailing 0-1. Finishes 1-1.

Oh & Niche Cache did some Garbett analysis after his goal last week.

Off the bench at 72 mins (1-0) as Breda are knocked out of the Dutch Cup, losing 1-0.

Comes on in the 63rd minute and gets his first assist of the season in a 1-1 draw.

I think The Niche Cache covered it a while back, but NAC Breda seem to be a better team (points/outcome wise) when he's on the pitch.

Picks up a yellow card in the 80th minute for his efforts too.
