He had played 9 professional games of football in 3 years prior to signing for the Mariners, so he wasn't anywhere near being a run of the mill A League player when he arrived.

Wasnt he an all white before he was a mariner?

there are a number of current and past all whites who are no where near A League quality.

i believe weemac made his HAL debut before his AW (and after his Scottish age group one)

That article said that McGlinchey paid the Mariners compensation.

That sounds unusual?

So I take it the Phoenix can't reimburse McGlinchey or otherwise it will come under the cap.

Sounds like more than compensation.

Surely what we have been paying him comes under the cap.

Have the FFA been assisting CCM with a few outstandings due perhaps too? Probably.

Would help them get sorted too and move on from this saga.

Have to say CCM have gone from the only Aussie club i had any support for when they were playing other teams,to one when i watch in future i hope they lose.
