He’s bulked up a bit. Not the skinny lad he used to be!

Highlights incl Bevan's early 8th min pen, at a ground in windy Halifax not unlike the Hutt Rec. Bevan fair wallops it in, in a game looks like Cavalry dominated until late on

Another game, another Myer Bevan goal.

Was all about the movement on that goal - A great ball to release down the right and you see Bevan hare in towards the penalty spot. Footage cuts out at the exact moment, but Bevan jinks right and peels off the Valour CB, giving him the extra yard needed so that even a scuffed shot trickles into the back of the net.

He's in some great form at the minute.

Is he worth another look at by the NIX?

Is he worth another look at by the NIX?

He might be happy where he is, and even hoping to get noticed by a MLS club. Got Canadian citizenship.

This one with the scruffed shot shades of that early CR playoff goal against AWs last June.

Cheers for the cover coochiee.

Bevan (7 goals CPL season to date) starts.
Lines up against ex TeeDubbs Oli Bassett (6 goals).
1st= & 2nd= in Golden Boot standings.

Edit - Bevan off at 70 mins (0-0). But Ottawa score twice post 80 mins to win 2-0. Bassett with the first goal (a pen).

Vancouver with an early 6th min red card. Bevan converts the resultant pen, and Cavalry lead 3-1 at HT

No Sandoval for Vancouver FC

Finished 5-1 Cavalry but very mixed game for Bevan. The early goal (pen) but then a straight red at 67 mins (4-1), alongside one of the Vancouver FC players. So that took Vancouver down to 9 men.

Anyway Bevan will miss a few games now.

Cavalry trail 1-0 in Ottawa, who have Ollie Bassett starting. As suspected no Bevan for Cavalry.

Edit - Cavalry lose 1-0.

Cavalry beat Forge, 3-0. Jesse Daly ex Brisbane Roar with an assist. He's had a few lately, and definitely a starter for Cavalry now.

Bevan off at HT (1-0) as Cavalry blow a 2-0 lead in the 2nd half, to lose 3-2. Maybe the Cavalry coach was worried his hot headed Kiwi was going to get a 2nd yellow.
