Monty has resurrected his career, honestly thought he was gonna drift off into the NPL a year or so ago but here he is signing another A-League deal.

i dont wanna be bad because of the result  but,  what  a brillant pass from Roux to  make the 1-0  a CAFÚ or JAVIER ZANETTI  kind of  assist

Really? I thought Roux did well at full stretch to keep the ball in & cross, but it took Torres diving at full tilt to score the goal and make it look spectacular.

For pure skill on a cross, I'd go for OVH's sublime pinpoint curved pass to Old any day.

Sure Roux played well in the dominant team, but don't agree with this love in that he's clearly the best choice RB for the AWs.

Both great crosses by Kiwis, pity they were on different teams.

Old had a quiet game even with the goal, not sure that starting is the best option for him.

The complaint is that we’re playing a RB role that would clearly suit him and he’s not in the squad. He’s been a locked in starter for the best team in the league for the past two seasons. He’s experienced. He’s been playing well.

Who started ahead of him? An underwhelming Dane Ingham and Bindon, a great CB, shoe horned in out of position at RB/RWB.

Surely our best 3 options are Payne, Roux and Kirwan, not in any particular order, if we’re pushing our RB up and down the line.

Not saying he should be a locked in starter, but you have to wonder what else he can do to be in the conversation.
