Both played 90 minutes as far as I can tell, lost 0 - 2 though. Toronto seem to have a much stronger squad.

Yep, both played the full game - Huddo made no subs.

One fan called the second half the worst half of football he'd ever seen. Seems the defense was at fault for the second goal as marking was very loose, couldn't tell if either of the two Kiwis were at fault though. Smith was okay, no real errors, but Wynne lapsed a bit at centreback (really good on the ball though).

To be fair Toronto are a very good team. And on a side note, I <3 Michael Bradley.

There are also comments in that thread about how good the first half was. You picked some nice cherries though.

From highlights Colorado had their chances to score a few goals and didn't take them. Played on a bumpy pitch, in freezing conditions. Effectively preseason, against last years stand out MLS side.

Everyone is very very curious to see how Hudson goes, coaching week in week out. I'd say reserve judgement until season end

Smith and Wynne both start, as Rapids MLS season begins with game at New England. Hudson employs his 3 centre backs (incl Smith & Wynne) system.

New England grab a stoppage time goal (93rd minute), to win 2-1.

Rapids striker blew penalty and easy follow up shot.

Full shift for both AWs.

Gets an assist for first goal as Colorado win 3-0 against the Philadelphia Union to pick up their first win under Hudson. Both Smith and Wynne with a full 90.

Nice goal despite the awful set up (that return pass to the guy who crossed the ball was awful!).

Finishes 2-1. Rapids now 7 pts clear of San Jose who are last in Western Conference.

So Uncle Tony maybe safe until season end

90 mins in 2-2 draw verus Galaxy.

That’s 2 wins and 2 draws in last 5 Rapids games.

Live on Duke. Down 1-0 early to Real Salt Lake. Niki Jackson has been sent off for Rapids for what looked like a headbutt attempt on an RSL player. No contact and a bit of a soft send off in my opinion.

Rapids making most of the play in the early stages though. Several corners and set pieces with a header cleared off the line.

Wynne on the bench.

The standard in this game is awful. I think below the A League surely, no tempo and very little good passing evident

2-0 down at H/T and another straight red card, this time for Adjei-Boateng after decision went to VAR. Doing themselves no favours. Hudson looking lost for words on the sideline.

I thought after the 1st sending off RSL went to sleep. Then it was scrappy until the 2nd goal was scored just after the half hour mark - no real quality or speed to the game, but can see what RSL trying to do, keep possession & just dragging the Rapids out of position and tiring them out.

They know they don't have to make the play or force the issue as they've essentially wrapped up the 3 points already. Rapids will do well to keep it to 3 or 4 from here.
