So, getting ready for life in League 1?
Maybe not such a bad thing for him - Ipswich have been doing just as poorly with him on the bench as when he was playing, so he might be getting another chance to start in the not too distant future.
Had it similar last year I think I recall. Starting early, then a lot of time on the bench, then back in th team, coinciding with a reasonable run.
Has to prove himself to Mick McCarthy now - after a 5 nil hammering this morning he must be in line for a start
Peoples Republik of Aucklandia
Suspect he played at Left Back as the other two Centre options played as well.
Did you guys know that Tommy Smith's full name is Thomas Jefferson Smith. (According to Wiki, so this may or may not be true)
End of an era. Vinnie - It's over.
If anyone cares for my inane babbling follow @iluvnix17 on the Twitter.
Smith put back on the bench for the day, Ipswich lose 6 nil.

Had a chuckle when I saw this in my Twitter feed.

I see They're calling him Tommy Miller on BBC Football!!!
Ipswich remain five points clear of fellow strugglers Bristol City after coming from behind at Portman Road.
On-loan midfielder Neil Danns gave the visitors the lead when he fired a low shot home from the edge of the box for his second goal of the season.
The lead only lasted 21 minutes, however, as Tommy Miller hooked home from Lee Martin's corner.
Michael Chopra went close to scoring a winner for the hosts, who are three points above the relegation zone.
City were looking for back-to-back victories on the road and debutant Paul Anderson had a shot blocked by Smith.
It was no real surprise when Derek McInnes's side took the lead in the 11th minute, with Danns taking advantage after Ipswich had failed to clear the danger.
Tom Heaton preserved the lead when he made a fine save from DJ Campbell, before the Tractor Boys equalised in the 32nd minute through Miller.
Both sides had chances in the second half, with Albert Adomah and Danns going close for the Robins.
However, Ipswich could also have won when Chopra's drilled effort was kept out by Heaton.
Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet
Started todays game - hope they can keep a clean sheet and he can keep his spot in the XI for the next few weeks.
The Beeb are just a bit behind. Tommy Miller is an ex-Ipswich midfielder.

wish he had chosen another team to score twice against!
A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen
Ipswich are on a bit of a roll at the moment.
A few more wins and they won't be far off pushing for a play off spot (the championship is very tight this year).
Good to see he's bounced back after a horro start to the year.

And only 8 points of 7th... or 12 for 6th spot.
Another 3 - 4 wins and they will be there or there abouts, admittedly a couple results the other way and they will by trying to find a paddle.

According to commentators last night, Dura had not heard from FIFA, I don't reckon he'll get clearance in time. But he's still going to be in camp with the team in Dunedin.
