It's a bit unfortunate if he can't win a place, but he's a quality player with a great temperament. I hope he Devlins it.
Sarpreet Singh (Unattached FC)
Club is benching their two Bayern loanees, playing Singh out of position and in a style that doesn't suit him at all. With Bayern short on attacking midfield/wing talent as backup, Singh may be wishing he stayed
It's not Nurnberg's role to develop Singh, nor to adapt their style to suit him. They brought him in improve their squad, and it's up to him to make that work for both him and the club. At some point he has to be able to swim in the professional waters, and that's exactly what Bayern will want to see from him, and not look for excuses.
Besides, considering that Bayern have brought in Choupo-Moting, Douglas Costa on loan, as well as Marc Roca (not to mention Sane), it's hard to see Singh seriously featuring in the Bayern squad any time soon, if ever.
This
Unfortunately Singh is facing the cold hard reality of European pro football. At his age he is not really seen as a young prospect. He was tried out for the first team and discarded. As you said Bayern have just recruited some world class players who can play in Singh’s position. Micheal Cuisance, who was considered an outstanding Bayern prospect did not make the grade and has just been lent to Olympic Marseille with the option to buy. This does not mean that Singh’s career is over, far from it. He had a great ride with the first team. Now he just has to put his head down, work hard and hope that he gets a break. I could see him successfully playing Div 1 in Holland. I am afraid the Bayern first team is just a step too far for him.

Shows how much of a talent Jamal Musiala is - another excellent young English player.
Played the full 90 and got an assist in a friendly vs. SSV Jahn
He's sick
He's sick
That's good to hear. Would be a big shame if he was on the outer already.

Against Fortuna Düsseldorf (13th)
Brandon Borello (ex Roar) 10 mins off the bench for Düsseldorf
Nürnberg 16th
Watched some of Bayern verus Dortmund (3-2 BM).
High class stuff. No shame on Singh if he never gets called back to his parent club.
That young Norwegian guy Haaland (Dortmund) sure is a talent.

A clutch of young Kiwis riding or coming off the pine in Euro football this morning
Moved to get game time, isn't getting game time. Must be frustrating!

More of the same. A view from the pine as Nürnberg (8th) beat bottom of the table Würzburger Kickers 2-1.
Kickers were down with Singh & BM II in Liga 3 last season.

Bayern will look to inflate his value, so they can sell him. Realistically he isn't going to be part of a Bayern squad, or team.
Came on for the last 20 minutes out wide in a 1-0 loss. He had a deflected header that just went wide of the goal in added time.
Great to see he's back in the team, his fitness might not be too good, having had little game time + his 2 weeks in MI when he came to NZ. Let's hope he features more in the second half of the season.
I thought he was in NZ for personal reasons? After quarantine he musn't have been here for long.

Yes, he was in NZ for personal reasons. Indeed, wasn't here for too long after quarantine.

Was a 1-0 loss at top of the table Holstein Kiel. Nuremberg 9th.
Subbed off at 83 mins in a 2-0 loss at Heidenheim (6th)
Same score when he came off.

Good to see Singh starting last few games.

Sounded to me like he came back because of a sick or dying family member.
Nurnberg from what I read were very understanding and almost insisted he go back.
With something like that on his mind, it would have affected his ability to concentrate on playing in the early part of the season.
Since returning it hasn't taken him long to get into the starting eleven.
Judging by the Nurnberg Facebook page, he needs to win over the fan because they do not sound impressed. Looks like his size has been the talking point yet again as he's been out muscled too many times?
Got 87 mins in a 1-1 draw with top of the table Hamburger SV.
Same score when he came off.
Nuremberg 11th.

Yeah, too true sadly. A cursory look on Twitter will tell you the fans can't contain their disappointment every time he's in the line-up. Must be doing something right to impress the coach though
