See Michael Built playing for Hamilton - is this the same Built that was/is at Northampton? He's not listed as released that I can see anywhere on the english sites.

Yes Michael Built was released by Northampton and is back at his old club Hamilton Wanderers

Wow, if his Wikipedia page is accurate he's got quite an impressive goal-scoring record. Is he A-league quality? A possible striker for the Nix perhaps?

Doubt it, an Aussie called Tolgay Ozbey scores for fun over there also and he is an A-League wash out from about 5 years ago. I don't think it is that high a level.

Goalkeeper zac hibbert played lately for conference national side southport: 45 minutes vs newport and and 37 minutes vs tamworth. Actually he is playing at the same level than james musa but his thread has been closed...

Anybody knows about liam reed and lloyd fortu who play in lower  divisions in germany?

http://www.football-talents.fr/Liam_Reed-3_7-130670-5.html

If the information about Lloyd Fortu are correct(I can´t believe them, because Nefis Stuttgart hasn´t a Internet account), then he plays in the "Kreisliga A"(League 9). I am referee in two leagues about them and I know people they play three leagues about the Kreisliga and they haven´t the talent to play for a national team or so.

Liam Reed don´t play at this club. So I think this informations are not correct.

Sry. ;)

What ever happened to Jack Pelter?

Permalink Permalink

His dad was saying that he had pretty much given the game away after the Waitakere stint. He had found a job and a missus although there was talk of him giving it one more crack in the UK. That was a little while ago.

Grumpy old bastard alert

I had high hopes for Pelter after this goal gave his career a mini boost. goal at the end of the clip at 57 secs.

If we build it, they will come...

Went to school with this guy, had big raps on him but doesn't see him doing much other than the Queensland Academy of Sport and going to the gym every day

Don't think I should be bringing an old forum up, However, I feel it is important to highlight All Whites players who are playing overseas, but aren't really in the mix! We have all these forums on individual players, but I just thought I would post a list on one forum on a players current whereabouts who currently is not linked in with the All Whites.

*DISCLAIMER*

I actually had no idea where to put this post by the way!

I have checked transfermarkt on players with dual nationality and as listed NZ heritage as their second nationality.

I will only be listing those play professional football and those who are overseas.

List goes here:

Mitch Cooper - Newcastle Jets (AUS)

Blake Powell - Central Coast Mariners (AUS)

Kwabena Appiah-Kubi - Central Coast Mariners  (AUS)

Ben McKendry - Vancouver White Caps (Canada)

Khair Jones - Melaka United (Malayasia) - Although no longer eligible

Matt Gould - Stourbridge FC (ENG)

Liam Jordan - Sporting CP (Portugal)

Nicholas Sudman - TV Bremen-Walle (Germany)

Phil Van Den Broek - VV Gestel (Netherlands)

You can find all list here:

http://www.transfermarkt.com/detailsuche/spielerde...

According to soccerway, those who aren't currently in the All Whites mix, but are with a club overseas are:

Tommy Smith - Ipswich Town (England)

Nikko Boxall - VPS (Finland)

Shay Spitz - Southern District (Hong Kong)

Michael Fitzgerald - Albirex Niigata (Japan)

Angus Kilkolly - Panevezys (Lithuania)

Kayne Vincent - Perlis (Malaysia)

Adam Mitchell - OFK Beograd (Serbia)

Steven Old, Dan Keat, Craig Henderson - GAIS (Sweden)

Full list is here:

http://us.soccerway.com/players/players_abroad/new...

According to NZ's Ultimate Soccer Website, there is too many to list and a lot unconfirmed. I will only be copying countries were 1 or 2 players are present, professional leagues, and players who have represented youth level, that I know of from my knowledge. I'll also leave the link.

List as follows:

Bryce McMillen - KFC Oosterzonen (Belguim)

Liam Graham - Chesterfield (England)

Tom Walters - Europa Point (Gibraltar)

Dominique Jourdan - Bayern Alzenau (Germany)

Jamie Woodlock - Go Ahead Eagles (Netherlands)

Luca Scimia - Pescara (Italy)

Kris Bright - Linfield (Northern Ireland)

Anthony Hobbs - CF Gava (Spain) - Not confirmed

Lewis William-Gray - Royal Blues Taipei (Taiwan)

Greg Draper - The New Saints (Wales)

Joseph Champness - Brisbane Roar (AUS)

Dane Ingham - Brisbane Roar (AUS)

Jai Ingham - Melbourne Victory (AUS)

Hayden McHenery - Brisbane Roar (AUS)

Ok, but what if I remove the "how" from that question?

Transfermarkt has him down as dual nationality but place of birth is Sydney and I can't recall any mention anywhere of him having a link to NZ other than one season at the Nix.

Yeah, I am also weary about Cooper on whether or not he is actually eligible for NZ as well.

Not sure what the second nationality means from Transfermarkt? could be those with a passport? Who knows.

Hear rumour that Tyler Lisette, ex Ole & WaiBop, has signed  a 1 yr deal with a Swedish club. Anyone confirm?

Adam McGeorge is running around for Romford in the English 8th Tier

From his management agency:

New Zealand winger, Kayne Vincent, is making a name for himself in Thailand. The 29 year old, who also holds a Japanese passport, has won the Toyota Thai League in 2015 with Buriram United FC.
He is currently playing for Kasetsart Football Club in Thai League 2, where he has scored 6 goals in 8 games, a fine form that will hopefully catch the eye of A-League clubs with the "plus 1" rule to be introduced in 2018/19 season!

Kotahitanga. We are one.

Forgot all about him!!! He was ripping it in minor Asian leagues a while back.
Interesting to read he also has Japanese citizenship. I thought Japan didn't allow dual nationality...obviously his management company hope J-leagues clubs will come sniffing. Good to see him back on the radar.
