Full 90 for Storm Roux seems to be playing well in the midfield with perth glory youth:

Perth's Howard Fondyke then saw a shot saved while impressive Glory winger Storm Roux produced a spectacular run down the left before passing to second-half substitute Sahr Musa, who was narrowly flagged offside when in a good position to run into goal.

Personal informations about michael james fitzgerald who is playing in japan with zweigen kanazawa on loan from albirex niigata:

Michael James Fitzgerald ("Michael James") is a young New Zealander who has lived in Japan for quite a while. I dont know the exact details of how he arrived here but I do know that he was here from an early age (ie, a minor). But the most important point is that he does not belong to Zweigen Kanazawa. He is an Albirex Niigata player who has been loaned to Zweigen to give him experience. So although he might be getting some sort of compensation direct from Zweigen, I am fairly sure that he is being paid by Albirex.

Michael James is half New Zealander, half Japanese. He attended school in Japan. He keeps connections to his New Zealand nationality as he would be MUCH more likely to be called to that national team than Japan's, but would consider taking Japanese nationality at any time as opposed to having a "child of Japanese national" visa that allows him more or less a normal life in Japan.

So, you see that there is always a connection there. Foreigners can't get in without one.

James's Zweigen Kanazawa also is a nearly or fully professional team. Takafumi Akahoshi, who played well for Mito in 2008 before going back to Urawa for 2009, had a chance to come back to Mito after being released. He went to Kanazawa instead... because the money was better.

Okay wtf? does NZF know about these guys?

I wouldn't be surprised if the boys at NZF had no idea about these guys.  I hope you're in regular correspondence with them Abris?
You cant just pick and choose which laws to follow. Sure Id like to tape a baseball game without the express written consent of major league baseball, but thats just not the way it works.-Hank Hill

I have a feeling this is fake. A quick facebook search (stalk) came up with a guy who goes to Palmy North and has Paul Ifill as a friend. Unless he used to attend that school.Luis Garcia2010-12-13 21:36:11

Some info about Michael James Fitzgerald who is still on loan in Japan with Zweigen Kanazawa. He has the highest market value on his team. Hopefully he can be good enough this season to play soon with his Jleague side Albirex Niigata.

There's a rumour on a Thai (and German) webboard that Jarrod Smith is going to Bangkok Glass in the Thai Premier League.
Anyone here heard anything?

04 Jan 15:37 · edited 09 Sep 05:16
He appears on bangkok glass wikipedia's web site. Seems to be an ambitious as they just signed former columbus crew player guillermo barros scheletto and former lyon player Sylvain Idangar.

They are ambitious. They bought their way in to the TPL in 2009, but like current champions Muang Thong United have set new standards in terms of professionalism, promotion, and long-term planning for Thai clubs. In their first season, they were in a two-team race for the title with MTU before fading and finishing 3rd behind Chonburi.  In 2010, they struggled for consistency, and were never in the title race, finishing 5th.

In addition to the players you've mentioned, they've also acquired Thai international striker Sarayoot Chaikamdee from Thai Port FC, who was 4th on the TPL goalscoring charts with 13 goals (30 match season). Samuel Ajayi, who is already with the club, is a fantastic forward too, although his finishing can be wayard. If Samuel improves his conversion rate, Smith could have a tough time cracking the starting XI. However, he should get plenty of opportunities, as BG should go deep into the cup competitions. They'll probably also defend their Singapore Cup title, having been the first non-Singaporean team to win it this year.

I saw on a Thai webboard today that BG may already have filled their foreigner quota, and Thai fans don't expect to see Smith there.

Chettleburgh is currently on trial with second division dutch side Telstar and even scored a goal in a friendly game

SC Cambuur and Telstar surprising defeats today in friendly matches against amateur clubs. The Frisians lost visiting zaterdagtopklasser HHC Hardenberg, while Telstar during training camp in Spain even shamefully losing Saturday league Excelsior Maassluis.

HHC Hardenberg took in the first half of the brutal leadership. Two goals from Renco of Eeken led to a 2-0 lead at number five for the rest of the Top Class Saturday at the amateurs. SC Cambuur after half time through Sandor van der Heide and Nassir Maachi again on the same level. Less than ten minutes from time but shot Wesley Wakker inside and so did the 3-2 win HHC Hardenberg.

Telstar left the field in Spain with head bowed. The White Lions were humiliated by Excelsior Maassluis namely, an average performer in the A league of amateurs Saturday. Ex-prof and former Arsenal Sieme Zijm talent Vincent Bergeron put Excelsior Maassluis in Marbella a 2-0 lead. Sezer Bozkurt knew after halftime to score twice in Maassluis and Javier Brouwer also affected even more. In between Telstar still managed to score twice against, so it was 5-2 for the amateurs. Test Player Corey Chettleburgh was among the scorers for Telstar.

Cory Chettleburgh is back to sparta rotterdam as an amateur after trialing with telstar
