Background:
A massive earthquake struck central China on the afternoon of 12th of May just before 2:30 local time. It measured 7.9 on the Richter scale and at least 4,400 aftershocks have since been recorded, including 146 measuring 4 or higher on the Richter scale.
As of 22nd of May the catastrophic earthquake has left more than 41,000 dead, 250,000 injured, some 32,000 people are missing and 5 million people homeless, an estimated 3.3 million homes have been destroyed and 15.6 million others have been partially damaged. It is noted that significant number of casualties are children.

Over 150,000 New Zealanders are of Chinese origin, many of them new migrants. Events in the earthquake zone will have impacted on a number of New Zealand families.
While we, as one of the main representative of Wellington Chinese community express our deepest condolences to all those affected. We think there are more can be done to aid the disaster relief efforts.
Enormous supports from Wellington Phoenix player Gao Leilei and Christchurch Chinese United have enabled SKYKIWI.COM and Wellington New Chinese Friendship Association to organise an emergency fundraising match to help the disaster relief efforts in China.
We hope this free match will encourage attendees to kindly donate to the Quake relief effort, all the fund will be pass to Chinese embassy in Wellington.

Good Lucks guys, have fun.

I hope you guys place a clip of the game on youtube.

And Feverish. . . keep your studs pointed down, we don't want you to hurt any of the nix players by mistake before the season starts. . . i.e. don't tackle your own teammates but play hard nevertheless.

Probably safer Tony if you avoid being on the pitch at same time as him.Red mist and all tends to cloud the vision.
