good old Mariners, oh well at least the occasional Nazi salute and drug escapade might distract the media from El**ch's visits to P.E.A.

Believe it or not El**ch is a better role model than either of those guys.

Here's a challenge, not sure anyone has done it yet, but has anyone tried to get El**ch to wear the shirt with a pie in hand and say "I love Pie" to a camera yet. I would love to see that happen. If so, then post it on this site please.

Good on the C C M in taking Bosnich. Lets not forget that before he went to Chelski, he was a fine keeper, then he came to London, and it all went pear shaped. I still believe that he was done by Chelsea, as they seem to off done the same trick with Mutu. Sure I wouldnt of put it past him to use Robbies reliever. But he was unjustly done. The A League will certainly of gained a character in having him back, and Vukovic should become a better keeper from training with him.

Got to agree with deang here. He was quite a keeper in his prime, and at 36, if he commits himself to training and what not he should still be a fine keeper in any case.

Bosnich was a top keeper,  and could still be very good.  He would have grown up by now and I think he will be a role model

"He's got a bit of condition" says the CCM goalkeeping coach. Diplomatic. I saw him on TV: take it from me, he's a tub of lard.

I feel a chant coming on (to the tune of the Clapton song):

Hey Bosnich you tw*t, have you given up that, Cocaine
If you want to play sport, you just can't snort, Cocaine
Please don't lie, please don't lie, please don't lie, Cocaine

Utting - Bosnich
Alcohol - Cocaine
Anmd we all love Utting here don't we
Good luck to Bosnich on his recovery and attempt to get back in to it. Keepers need to be a bit/a lot loopy and he fits the bill nicely.

Its no longer a problem.

isn't Bosnich the guy who once did a nazi salute (and allegedly placed two fingers on his upper lip to emulate Hitler) towards the Nottingham Forrest supporters??

From my fortress of Pedant I come forth for surely it was JJ Cale who wrote that song, Clapton just did a version of it?

In his day Bosnich was a really good keeper. I actually think it may be a good move although many of these sorts of signings never really work out Gazza and Collymore spring to mind.

What was the meaning/relevance of such a gesture to Spurs supporters?
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

If you are being serious Spurs are/were heavily supported by their large local Jewish community.

Bosnich could'nt really come up with anything more tasteless really.

Ok, Yeah I was just wondering if it was a randm offensive gesture or there was some history and it was a bit more malicious. What a c**t, can't wait to rip into him when he enters the Ring of Fire

I dunno, We've all done really stupid things we regret particularly in our youth and I'm inclined to leave it. He was a huge knob in his day but who's to say he's not changed? I mean he could have been known as one of the best Aussie exports in sport. He was really gifted but he fell mightly from grace.

At the time he stated he thought it would be taken as a joke - which shows how utterly thick he was. I never found out if he was basically racist or not.

I think some sort of "which person engored themselves of the sum of the pastry covered savory light meals?" or something would surfice as opposed to "F*CK OFF BACK TO NUREMBERG HEINRICH HIMMLER!"

Also he still has the worst haircut in football just about, he deserves pity more than anything.
