OMG!!! SOO HAPPY THEY SIGNED HIM! i was suprised he didnt get signed for the first season, but he must have been under contract in china,then finland!

hes soooo fast and he knows how to put the ball in the back of the net, very determined and is a team player toooo!!

Why did the Aussie commentators pronounce his name backwards?

haha i dont know they mixed it up alot, they would say "gao lei lei on the ball" then " great shot from lei lei gao" :S  soo i duno theres aussies mate what do u expect! HAHA

In the Chinese language, the name is spoken with the surname before the christian name because the recognition a family name has. It of course conflicts with the Ango-saxon way of speaking the christian name then the surname. It also reflect the different mind set. That is family honour before personal honour in terms of importance. Either way, there is really no wrong or bad intent on either side of the same coin.
