Does anyone know what other clubs than sheffield united showed interest in Moss?

Despite signing a one-year contract extension and pledging his future to Gold Coast, Glen Moss may soon move on to bigger and better things. The 'keeper has been trialling at English Championship outfit Sheffield United since the close of his stellar season with United, and they aren't the only club to register an interest.

"There're a couple of things on the table at the moment," Moss said. "If anything comes from overseas, I think you've always got to have a look at it, especially if you're going up to a higher league."

He is back on the coast.
He reckons there were 3/4 keepers there,so no point in staying.

Gold Coast United now have a total of nine non-Australian players on their books - the highest number in A-League history - but shrewd recruiting means that only five will be counted as official visa players.

As well as the side's new Eritrean duo and Kiwi shotstopper Glen Moss, defender Ante Rozic is a Croatian national but holds an Australian passport, allowing him to be registered as a local player.

Ive worked hard from the moment last season finished to put this new squad together and in the team against Melbourne we only had Glen Moss and Adama (Traore) who were regulars last year, so its a new look and a new feel but we will be okay and we have plenty to look forward to.

Before Moss tore his adductor muscle, the Kiwi international had been outstanding for Gold Coast and the Bulletin has learned that an offer had been tabled by a Europe-based club

MOSS: Players the forgotten soldiers
http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2012/03/08/397771_glen-moss-opinion.html

"I doubt many will know that the team touched down in Wellington at 2am the morning of the game.

I'm sure news of this will surprise some after such a gallant performance against the Phoenix. I'm extremely proud to be associated with such a committed bunch of players and highly recommend any one of them to other clubs."

Ante Rozic remains hampered by a hamstring problem, Glen Moss is slowly getting over his adductor tear, and of course Joel Porter (calf) has barely seen playing time this season.

why moved to football blogging though?  Could he not stay in Wellington Phoenix discussion, we might want to comment on him during the season and you know some numpty will start up a new thread instead of using an existing one.
