Benicio, 29, is a close friend of Phoenix midfielder Daniel and travelled to New Zealand with a view to picking up an A-League contract next season. He has been training with the Phoenix.

Cole Tinkler, mentioned in the same article, might have
potential in the Phoenix backline.

in singapore but it is singapore after alll my question with the
brazilian if he is so good to play in the a league then why wasnt
he picked first second division in sweden and portugal not that

The suspension is irrelevant - he was given those two weeks off anyway so it has no impact whatsoever. The ref could have given Daniel his daughter instead of a yellow card and he'd still not play the next two games. No need to resort to Man Ure

We need to get the guy that got cassio for adelaide to get us
another brazilian, He offered another brazilian (the name escapes
me right now) to the jets I think. But for some reason it broke
down and now he is the lead goal scorer in the Brazilian top
league.

English well enough, which is always a plus
