Melbourne Victory have announced a new naming rights sponsorship deal,
and for the next three seasons will be sponsored by Trans Australia
Regional Development Services. While the dollar figure of the
sponsorship is yet to be publicly disclosed, it is believed to dwarf
all previous A-League sponsorships.
The Victory will wear the sponsor's logo, incorporating the company's initials, in prominent position on the front and back of their playing shirts, beginning on Wednesday 12th April in their Asian Champions League fixture.
Club spokesman Weearp Issing described the sponsorship deal as an exciting move forward. "Melbourne Victory has been described as the club for Melbourne and Victoria, but we believe we are more than that. The new sponsors' logo on the shirts will give the football community a true understanding of who we are".
