Barack v McCain.
Pretty historic day in world history, first black man to be a nominee for president.
Going to be a drawn out process till november. Should be good though.

Pretty much a given that it'll be Obama though. Probably be made official sometime today though, Hillary has to pull out.

Meh, my cynicism in the US political system has me feeling that Obama will just eventually turn out to be the lesser of two evils.

Obhama will take it provided he can get the african americans out to vote en masse. Last election I beleive only a small fraction even bothered.

Yeah, either that or their votes were "lost" or ruled "inelligible", as in Florida.

yeah very true, I can see somehting like that happening again as the Republiocans seem to have a history of stealing elections in order to get puppets like G.W.Bush elected.
