Just watched the Sports News & was struck that with three kiwi crews winning medals at todays World Champs that all 5rowers across the 3 crews were blonde as blonde (as are the Swindell sisters). As an ex rower myself (&barely blonde these days) I remember that sure rowing was mostly a pakeha sport but you still got a reasonable mix of hair colour amongst them and there were still some other ethnicities participating
