I think David did it, not sure jury will find him guilty however. Anyone really interested in the case should read the House of Lords judgement, changed my mind on it completely after reading it. Whether he did it or not I think the Police investigation was a f**k up from start to finish

The investigation was a shambles but even if he is convicted he won't have to serve too long as he's already done 14 years (I think).

In my personal opinion though, it is unethical to lock up a gem like Bain when you consider his amazing taste in jerseys.  That's just me though.

No chance david did it.  Mega police f**k up and a shoddy defense lawyer.

I think the evidence points towards David, but there is enough doubt there to let him off, so agreed. Last week was pretty strong for the prosecution though, distance the gun was fired from is an interesting one. But methinks he may well have done it, but will probably be a free man.

Boyd said David had micro-managed the funerals of his family and if did not get what he wanted he would "switch off''. He knew exactly what colour flowers he wanted for each of the coffins and what each of the family should wear including jewellery and underwear. He wanted Arawa to wear a gown and her super bra. Each family member would have their own music and for Laniet had he chosen the song, "Who wants to live forever'', she said.

So he was picking the underwear his dead sisters would have on for their funeral?

That's way too creepy, even for me.

Prosecution evidence doesn't look too good for David so far.

Either he did and he is in denial or the above sums up the doubts people have.
Obviously let the court decide, they are the ones who have to sit through the whole thing.

David Bain told his relatives not to wear black for his family's funeral because death was a celebration, the High Court in Christchurch heard today.

It wouldn't be the first time i've heard this - celebration of a life.

Not that he got to go to the funeral.

when people are mental (as Bain's jumper collection confirms that he is) they are unaware of the fact that they did something terrible.  That means that they can state with utter conviction that they did not do it, and idiots will belive them.

David Bain is as guilty as OJ (although that means that he will not be properly convicted of the crime).

So many inconsistencies in the original investigation and his guilt couldn't be proven so it's the right decision and I'm happy for Bain.

Correct decision, but I think he did it.

Well that may sound like an oxymoron, I think he did it but there was too much doubt to convict him.Gangsta!2009-06-05 17:47:36

Is his first interview going to be with Tony Vietch?

Apparently David has celebrated by going down to KFC and having a Family Pack.

Now that he has been found "not guilty" he can stand on Parliments steps and shout "I did it" and can never be charged for it. Nice one Jury, 8+ weeks of information and you managed to make an informed decision in less than 8 hours. Me thinks you all wanted to bugger off home rather than deal with a serious issue.

Yeah, the fact that it took such a short amount of time kind shows that they'd already made their mind up.

Reckon he's guilty as.

Think about it, who else would start a poll about who did it? He would be laughing as other people argue over 2 other people (I may not be correct)
