Yeah, go on then. I'll have some:

The Proclaimers (Don't secretly love them, make no secret about it!)
KLF (Had to get them in somewhere, you and me against the world FM!)
Simple Minds
Rammstein
Depeche Mode

That should do for starters.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I blame Tammy Wynnette!!!

I don't understand how anyone could hate the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu. They drive an Ice Cream van for God's Sake!

Can't say the music left a lasting impression on me but if you've ever seen Dee Snider being interviewed he is a very funny man. He tells some great anecdotes in the DVD "Heavy Metal: Louder Than Life".

First album Spandau Ballet, first and second album Human League (i.e. pre-Dare) and the John Foxx era Ultravox.
And I quite like Wham. Wouldn't buy anything by them, but Club Tropicana, Wham Rap etc are damned good pop.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

My iTunes includes the very best of the Pet Shop Boys....

How can people hate the KLF? Their album "Chill Out" is not only the first ambient album ever, it's also the best!

Def Leppard...

Otheriwse, KLF - Yays.  B-52's - prior to that stoopid rebirth, even Wham Rap... not all offensive to me.

Simple Minds should have quit after Sparkle in the Rain, but up to then.  yes.

I'm kind of loving the Ting Tings and CSS at the moment.. but I keep that on the down low because it's teeny bopper electronic pop and my reputation can't be compromised with people knowing that.

And I love the foo fighters.. but again.. down low.

Well - I re-read the title of this thing.. and people do love those bands.. but the people who I go out with would be ashamed. That or they secretly love them too. haha.
