I got a question why the fk did Beijing get the olympics when there pollution is shoking!?
Apparently one day/afternoon outside or something is like smoking 70 cigarettes?
Makes no sense???
Plus youv got the smell of decapitated chickens, frogs, duck, flamingos, rats and cats lingering through the city.

And if you were really listening to the report, you'll know for some athletes it wil be nearer 700 fags a day, as they suck in 10 times the amount of air than Joe Public when competing.

frankly, I hope these Olympics are the biggest flop ever. I see that any journalist in china who types in "Tibet" on their google search engine finds any references blocked. Freedom of the press?
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

You reactionary ????????) splittists!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

If I can avoid them I will. I believe the Olympics should be permanently based in Greece and go back to the original prinicples. FFS when has BMX been a true Olympic sport?? As for China, pollution, oil devouring, human rights, treatment towards Tibet. All things considered not the perfect country they are trying to display themselves as. Any Athlete who shows the balls to protest will get my support though.

[QUOTE]

And what principles are you refering to? The one that stated 'our city state shall crush your city state'? FFS, that's how wars start. Oh no, Olympics and politics never did mix, did they?

As for your denouncement of BMX this is a problem on two fronts:
1. Cannot criteria for inclusion evolve, LG? Are you putting your hand up for naked Greko wrestling, as the logic of your argument suggests you will only be happy with what the Greeks originally included.
2. The BMX lass from NZ seems so nice...surely an overlooked contender for the 'Top 50' !!!!!HarryHotspur2008-08-07 17:03:50

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Olympics are pretty yawny... should be interesting with all the (extra) politics though
I like tautologies because I like them.
