I went to Nandos in Zimbabwe a few years back. It was pretty good...

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

The "Best McDonalds?" I have been in was on a industrial estate just near Chambery  in France. We'd been driving all day, were a bit knackered, and it was late. Clare said "let's go in there." So we went in...
Rather than order we sat down to catch our breath. Woman behind the counter shouted over about us wanting to order. When I replied (my french is "interesting") she immediately recognised the foreigner. Then she left her till and came over asking "are you english?". When we replied inthe affimative she was clearly pleased. Then she explained it was her break coming up and would we like to have coffee, there, with her.
She, I just can't recall her name, brought over three coffees, some fries and some fish burger thing. We spent twenty minutes having a chat. She explained that she never got enough conversational english and that the shift manager was always sympathetic whenever english speakers arrived. The coffee and snack was on the house!

As an aside - my bro went to University of Savoie in Chambery, had a look at a map of the town and they have a Rue Bobby Sands, evidently have had a council with Irish republican sympathies at some time

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Hope the McD's wasn't on that street. Would be kind of ironic, having a Maccas on Rue Bobby Sands!

Not very likely that there would be any chicken suppers sold in the Rue Bobby Sands locality
