So, was wondering what stuff you took at uni to get into a job like what your doing sounds interesting and the kinda stuff I wanna do haha.
Mate, I laugh at how I got here:
1) Start a business degree in marketing and accounting
2) Drop out after 18 months
3) Work for 9 months for an Electrical Wholesaler
4) Study for a semester in Brisbane adjusting your majors to Marketing and Sports Management and work in sales support
5) Run out of money, move to Wellington where free rent awaits, transfer studies to Massey + score a marketing job at the WCC looking after their feeling great website.
6) Fail a 300 level statistical analysis paper and adjust major to be Communication Management
7) Being really close to graduation drop down to uni part time, leave WCC, and move into part time outbound sales with Telecom
8) Leave Telecom because the culture was all about money
9) Start interning at your church doing youth work, event management, and administration
10) Get agonisingly close to finishing your business degree and start a BA at Vic in Political Science and International Relations
11) Finish all of that lot up and start working at Greater Wellington Regional Council
12) Get bored of that and go follow the All Whites
13) As you leave meet a bloke in the pub who happens to own Leftfield Interactive, who specialise in digital communications support
14) Return to a job you love and make a fellow forumer jealous
This process took about 5 and a bit years.
