All good news from where I sit, no big payout to get rid of tjhe encumbant coach, and we get plenty of time to choose who NZ cricket want - I hope Wrighty applies or gets approached.

Really? But with Bracewell in charge it feels longer I guess.

It will feel a lot longer, I hope he can kept his mouth shut in public until April.   It seems like a lifetime ago that Rixon was coach.
If not Wrighty, I'd like to see the Aussie back.

maybe they figured its cheaper for us to play in places like Bangladesh and Zimbabwe...hired Braces to piss off all the good players we had...and seriously put the others off their game but continously selecting them, then dropping them while asking them stupid questions, and muttering about conspiracies....

I think wright was still with India at the time? Seriously though Aberhart should never had been let go- it was his champion canterbury generation- Fleming, Cairns, Astle, Mcmillan, Harris, (and is there another few can't remember) who were the core of that team and they were performing well. Bracewell takes over, an injured Shane Bond becomes his entire plan...and ahh nuts...nobody cares about cricket in Korea thank F**ck...

OMG no! not Steve 'the messiah' Rixon...what are we an Australian retirement village? why not Greg Chappell ffs?

how well has Dipak Patel done with CD? what other coaches are there with good records in NZ if for some bizarre reason it isn't handed to Wright gift wrapped with apologies for losing ALL THAT IS EVERY SINGLE ONE of the experienced players...

no wait sorry I forgot Taylor, How and Mason...

The POMEs have picked the same team for the Lords test as played here, I don't blame them.
Hopefully Sidebottom, and his "curly hair", has gone off the boil.

I reckon we'll give them a run for their money! Redmond seems to have the goods, he and How did really well in the second innings.

Yep they will have been lolled into a false sense of superiority after whitewashing us in our own conditions a few months back.
