Dodgy

 

I tell Vickmeiest to pull in and I get out say evening lads and spot two teenage girls lying in a friggin bush near Monteiths.

 

The lads say they are trying to "walk them home to whitby".

 

It don't feel right, particularly as both girls jump at the chance when I ask them if they need help getting home.

 

They are clearly sh*t-faced and they say they don't want to move but actually ask me for a ride home. I get Vickmeist and the girls are really keen to get a ride and ask for a lift, it's out of our way but what do you do?

 

The two lads did not push it and took off.

 

On the way back apparantly these two lads met them at a party and were going to take them to another party in Paramata but they never got there. They never said but they realised that they'd probably got in over their heads tonight and things where getting out of hand.

 

Anyhow the two girls where very grateful when we dropped them off home, far too young to be out and about shi*t-faced with 2 likely lads in the early hours of the morning.

 

Girls we hope you  learned a lesson tonight. There's not always going to be idiots like us around who get involved.

 

 

 

In this case we can live with it.
