Does Chch have a problem?

I think you are right I'm sad to say.
I was in Welly last weekend and I noticed alot of friendliness and tolerence  (apart from the jerk who asked me the result of the nix game as he walked past and when I tld him his response was - C%#ts - ( had my son with me so was real impressed)).
 
 In Chch there are alot of people with attitude looking for trouble.
I don't know why..... or what the solution is
there's plenty of that here in Wellington too

Tbh most of it is just fringe groups...
 
Go to 99% of the CHCH population and they aren't racist in an extreme way (some people do believe steriotypes....but they dont hate other races)

Oh god how boring.  Meat & 3 vege 365 days a year!!  I assume that's what they'll eat because they're Anglo-Saxons.  Like-minded Europeans?  Does that include people from Italy, Greece, Spain & Portugal as well?  I thought the NF have names for those types of people too.  As for them being anti-immigration, well, better kick out the British immigrants, they make up the biggest immigrant group.

that's kinda funny, if we kicked out the immigrants in this county the tecnically it would eb a deserted island.......there woukld be no humans here, given that even the first Maori or version of them came by boat from god knows where!

Some people are yes, but thats generally misinformed steriotypes. What I meant by saying that is that they dont hate other races but are stupid enough to listen to steriotypes.

In general, you will find White Nationalists include people from Italy, Spain + Portugal, as long as they are white. I am not sure about Greeks, but my instinct says no, as they are more mediterranian. I cant speak for the NF, obviously.

Changed my mind.
 
CHCH is probably the most racist place in the country. Here is a few examples from the last fews days.....
 
1) Get told by someone that they hate asains. I asked them why and they had no reason (there words not mine)
 
2) I have a friend who whenever he see's a pacific island or maori person walking along the same footpath as them will try and cross the road and usher me across aswell.
 
3) Get told not to eat Indian food cause "they put dog in it". I know it sounds comical but the person fully believed what they were saying.
 
4) I got told today that the Maori race had damned themselves.

I've been to CHCH quite a lot and lived there for a while. I have noticed that it seems to be a place that attracts the white power mentallity, despite the increasing asian presence.
 
Shame as CHCH is a beautiful city and heaps to see and do. Yet again a few idiots attract the media attention from Boy w**kers (Racers) to White Power influencess.

In general, you will find White Nationalists include people from Italy, Spain + Portugal, as long as they are white. I am not sure about Greeks, but my instinct says no, as they are more mediterranian. I cant speak for the NF, obviously.

There's also about a 10 percent extremist tinge to France, Germany and Austria.
Its weird on a Sunday morning seeing the extreme socialist bloke on one corner with newspapers and the NF bloke on the other corner handing out leaflets. 
PSG (Paris St Germaine) had a "wing" that you had to stay clear of, when I lived there.
 
Had to laugh that the footie fans in France have played up their reputations recently. 
Lens (up northern France) had a sign that said "Coalminers, unemployed, slappers, Marseilles welcome to the north.
Then when Lens went down south, Marseilles fans had "Mafiosa, gamblers, addicts and fishermen, Lens welcome to the south.

I know I'm splitting hairs here but that isn't racist.  That's what the person genuinely believes and it isn't putting one race above another.  It's just plain old ignorance from the individual in question in my books.
