No damage to our place.  One or two of them woke me up, one was quite strong but I was too tired to stay awake.  Another one hit while I was watching a movie just over an hour ago - it was quite powerful also. loyalgunner2010-12-26 14:34:17

I'm pleased to be leaving on holiday down south tomorrow and away from these quakes.

We felt one last night and one this morning at 10:30. Amazing really considering where we live, they all seem to be centered in Chch city now.

I felt one whilst in Riccarton Mall this arvo too actually, apparently the 10:30 one this morning actually shut the mall down for a bit.timmymadden2010-12-26 21:53:33

From Stuff:

Witnesses said there were buildings down all around Cathedral Square in the city, with the church destroyed. Witnesses said there would be "deaths" this time.

Christchurch resident Sean Scanlon said it was by far the biggest shake since the original September 4 quake. The power was out and phone lines jammed.

Christchurch Hospital was being evacuated, a spokewoman for the hospital said.

Fuck this stupid game

Cathedral spire has collapsed, more building down. Hope everyone is ok. Happy I got in touch with fam already.

My old work building, the ceiling came down and large parts of building broke off.

On TV1 now guys. Allegedly 1 death and the footage is more scarey than the last one mainly because of the crowd numbers around.

I just wish the journalists would use acurate terms and cut out the sensationalist comments. All that does is upset relatives of people down there. just be factual - is it too much to ask?

A lady in serious shock "Did you see any blood?" WTF sort of question is that to ask?

I'm in Blenheim on my way to Wellington.  Family is OK.  Hadn't heard from Dad or Pa but they're fine which is a relief.  House sounds fine bar sewerage problems (smells horrid apparently) but that's the least of peoples concerns.  Please pray.
