Racism is funny isn't Diddy?

No one posts here anymore, but WTF I never thought I'd see a force India car on pole, Giancarlo Fischella too. I thought we'd see McLaren and Ferrari back around the top, maybe still having Brawn and Red Bull there too. Been an odd season, Brawn on top, Schumi almost making a comeback, New old looking cars, KERS, Button dominating then falling away....

Anyone watching Bathurst?

On and off.

Watched Dixon go pear-shaped this morning.

Where'd he come?

Didn't lose the Championship did he?
11 Oct 00:22 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
And stuff tells me he came second.

Who is leading/won Bathurst ?
11 Oct 05:30 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
HRT just fluked a lead.  Murph and Valvoline cars had it lined it up with short stops to win and then a yellow screwed them.

Murph so close to a podium.

Crazy effort from Murphy at the end. Bathurst never fails.Michael2009-10-11 23:00:06

You can tell Murph was trying when you could hear him screaming over the noise of the engine on the racecam shots. Top effort. And all the Ford fans I know are moaning like no ones business too, which pleases me no end

Anyone into NASCAR? Jimmie Johnson looking to make history and become the 1st driver to win 4 straight titles. would be amazing to see
15 Oct 02:02 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
Booooo... needs more Gordon or Stewart.  If you ain't raced Midgets you ain't raced.

yea it will be hard for gordan and stewart to win in the chase format. The old format suited them better where just consistantly finishing in the top 5 or 10 with the odd win would secure you the cup. These days there is alot more emphasis on winning, especially in the chase, which is where Jimmie Johnson excells.
Lets wait and see tho, still 6 races to go. Anything can happen, especially at Talladega

Jimmie Johnson wins again. Title all but his
22 Oct 07:55 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
not alot of activity here but i will keep posting. JJ has the biggest lead at the halfway stage of the chase than any other year. Tony or Mark hav to win the next race and/or hope JJ has a bad day

F1's gone down the toilet. In recent years, wayyyyy to many rule changes, stopping development of technology, etc etc. They cocked the sport up.

Now Toyota gone, and I believe Reno to follow.

yea its just not the same. even as early as 2004 it was still good. once schumacher retired it kind of lost its aura. lost of forms of motorsport go through this sorta change period. hopefully they will sort it out
05 Nov 05:33 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
I was actually going to say that... Post Schumacher it gone done-hill. I blame it on constant rule changing. I know all through F1 history rules have been changed to slow cars down (No Turbos etc) but seriously, everytime a team develops a good wing the rules change. You just cannot advance any more.

yea the sport will lose all credibility if it keeps this up. hopefully next season will be better. personally i prefer irl (cos of scott dixon, i would watch wateva he is racing). I love nascar and NZ speedway. pretty much any type of motorsport
05 Nov 09:57 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
Yeh man, I use to bag IRL because of the circleness of it. Then I actually watched a race and I was like "f**king f**k yes!" and fell in love with it.
05 Nov 10:32 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
yea great mix of ovals and road courses. Texas is an amazing race to watch, 3 wide all the way round. edge of your seat the whole time
09 Nov 09:44 · edited 09 Sep 05:24

NASCAR title race is back on, JJ comes 38th, Martin comes 4th, takes 111 points off his lead

16 Nov 20:05 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
so jimmie wins at phoenix and now just needs to finish 25th or better to clinch his unprecedeneted 4th straight title.

so button signs for mclaren. interesting, an all english line up. cant see it working though, hamilton is by far the superior driver and will get the better equipment and calls and what not.

button is guna get angry that hes not the top dog anymore, there will be tension and it just wont work.

in my opinion

which isnt worth much

Bit harsh on the team who rejuvenated, no, made his career.
20 Nov 04:22 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
yea it is.

he took a huge pay cut to go there and nows hes having a huge pay increase.

i like red bull to be the team to beat unless mclaren get their sh*t together

Well Jimmie Johnson wins four titles in a row, thats incredible!!

Surpasses Cale Yarbourough's 3 titles in a row in the late 70's.

He has been unbeatable, epitomises hard work and determination, pure class.

He now must have his sights set on the record of 7 titles overall. Held by the great Richard Petty and the late great Dale earnhardt.

Just been ready new F1 rules.

Amongst them, no more refueling this year.

WTF?!?!??!?

I refuse to watch F1 this year, the glamour has gone, cars go slower, any technology advancements are disallowed, and now the only strategy we will see will be when it rains.

F1 Race Strategy:
1. Divide the race into a certain number of divisions depending on how many tires you have.
2. Change tires at the end of each division.

Boring.
09 Jan 02:17 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
f**k thats gone downhill hasnt it, though schuey will be back, albeit with mclaren

i will be focused on dixon above all else, and always watch the nascar
09 Jan 12:08 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
Used to watch the F1 religiously... With these f**ked up rules I can't see that happening anymore. No refueling....WTF?

Sheez! from the" you have got to be kidding!" files
...just heard on Sky News tonight...
Big broad hints from Ford HQ in USA that they are going to kill off the Falcon ..!!

and replace it with their world  concept car.... the TAURUS!!!

Now that would seriously bork Bathurst and the V8 Supercar Series...I hope the Aussies can find a work-around and keep their Falcons.

The Holden v Ford battles have been legendary over the years.. I would hate to see it go.
