NZ's greatest ever captain. Also our most prolific scorer and catcher.

And he bowled New Zealand's greatest Ball:

MMC Schewe st Germon b Fleming 12 24 16 1 0 75.00

Scotland. And South Africa. No one else has a Nel, but if they did they'd need Fleming aswell.

Dumbest thing Scottishbhoys comment is that Flemings record is about 3 times better than Nels. At Bowling.

Fleming's played 280, Nel's play 8.

Would be good to see him get one last ton... or a solid 60-odd

two solid 60 odds would be so utterly reflective of his career

we had other batsmen??? Hmmmm... I must have blinked and missed them... with the exception of How perhaps.

And does anyone know where the kite came from that must have flown into Matthew Bell's eye?

I blinked and missed that too lol

will be interesting to see if Bell's 69 today will earn him a trip to England, with Sinclair failing, Fleming out, and noone else except a random 250 from some no name in Otago - I reckon he may get a life!

It's not prophetic. It's predictable. Fleming thinks about his innings to much after he gets 50. He simply needs to play cricket.

if there's grass on the wicket, it's time to play cricket

Matthew Sinclair should be banned from all cricket for life.

Apart from that, well done Flem, we'll all miss ya.

Three for me, and two for them.

fleming is such a good player but so entirely infuriating, this test is a prime example. looks wonderful and like noone can touch him but then he just gets out. who knows why, but still one of our greats

If it's not Bell, then who is it?

Papps?
Cumming?
McIntosh?  (FFS, he got 2 in his second dig today)

Bell must go to England.

Why not go for youth like what was in the Sky commentary squad today.

I agree.  Bell must go to England.  But not as a 'cricketer.' Stevo2008-03-25 21:55:03

Anyone.  I don't care.  A youth.  A geriatric.  f**k Crowey said he's contemplating a comeback.  Anybody, except Matthew Bell.

Or Sinclair. I'd rather pick anyone on this forum over Sinclair.

Three for me, and two for them.
