Mine was a paperboy. I once lost 17 papers one night when they fell out of the bag and all got blown away. I then had to decide who I would deliver the remaining papers to. Never got 1 complaint the next day. Couldn't believe it.
 
First real job. Westpac Bank in Dannevegas.

as a 16 yo i worked at KMart while i was still at school. stacking shelves 3 days a week from 4-7 after school.......i had the cash....but sucked at math!

Paperboy. Did 2 rounds, Berhampore and Newtown. Then got a job office cleaning in the city and shelving at the Wellington Public Library.

My first was washing a car for a middle-age man, I quit cause he paid me ridiculous mounts and seemed pedaphiliac (sp).

It's so long ago I'm not sure I can remember.  I think it was handing out and collecting ragbags.  All a bit enmbarrassing.  Plus the boss who looked just like Meatloaf ripped us off.

Gopher. Running errands for my dad's clothing store, most often taking clothes to the tailor for alterations, vacuuming the store floor etc.

First taxed job was working at Domino's Tauranga. I actually really enjoyed it, was promoted to shifty then quit after a change in management resulted in my new boss telling me I had to be a driver - something I was NOT keen on. Stupid office politics haha.

first tax paying job  -  working in a small town hire centre

first job general motors trentham building sh*t holdens,left school on the monday started work on the tuesday mind you that was in the eighties and i think gm's is no longer making cars.good money back then though as a 16 year old first pay a friend and i spent all our wages on alcohol what aq party that was had more friends than we realized,until the piss ran out.

first non-paperboy job was at the longburn meatworks near palmy for a few weeks before uni started.. 11hours straight 1st day. not a fun job.

First job was in Dads workshop helping the engineers do stuff. First real job, umm, pulling pints while playing football for the club that owned the pub.

Its no longer a problem.
