Go Billy, I reckon he did that so he could have some media attention thats been missing for a while. I mean, it was so obvious that even Stevie Wonder could have seen it.

After thought, what a classic time to have started up a "You dont know what your doing" chant.

Hurricanes, hurricanes, clap clap clap, hurricanes, hurricanes, clap clap, clap. It's the only one they know. And take your ear plugs for the mega loud and annoying music for any breaks in the play.

given the score and all....
Doesn't help when New Zealands top umpire lops your best batsman off with one of the worst decisions ever seen in international cricket.

Out of interest... Why does your f**king not have stars to block out letters??

At All Black games it's Black Black Black...!  Even then it's not in unison.  Or when they're in a maul close to the opposition try line - Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.  How very boring!!

I went but refused to take part in the Mexican wave.  Pretty sure there were no real chants.  A woman on the bus said she was disappointed with the fireworks.  Personally I was more annoyed by their presence.  It's a sporting fixture, not a celebration.

I remember a Mex wave went round down in Chch (vs Adelaide) but I put that down to the Cantabrians.  Didn't one go round at the AW game?  Anyway, not a football thing, lets confine it to rugby.

I thought it was called Mexican Wave because it came from Football matches in Mexico. Seems after reading wikipedia I am mistaken?Michael2010-02-28 11:47:53

Whatever its origin, by the mid-1980s the practice was widespread throughout North America. Finally, it gained worldwide notice, and the specific name Mexican wave, during the FIFA Football World Cup in Mexico at the Estadio Universitario in Monterrey, 1986.

Mexican Waves would be almost impossible if everyone was standing. Make standing compulsory.

I'm slightly disappointed!
