I'm hoping someone here can help me out, I was given one of the players shirts from last season - remember the ones that were auctioned on trademe, My darling wife bought me Tim Brown's without me knowing after it didnt sell....question I have is does anyone know of a place that can mount it, frame it so I can display it with all my other nix stuff?

If you're Wellington based, there's a framing gallery opposite Briscoes on 'naki St, or one on Wakefield, near Chaffers New World.  I looked at those when I went e-bay-crazy and wound up with some pricey vinyl.  Was going to be a good $250 for protective glass (anti-fading for protection and non-reflective, so as to not block your adoring gaze) and a felt-style backing with the record mounted in the middle.  They would be able to whip up something similar, but it might not be cheap.

I have looked into this for a few football shirts that I have in my possession and it would appear that $200-300 is a reasonable amount to protect something for life!!!

Mind you the prices quoted to me were in $AUD but still reasonable all the same!

Talk to Phil at RYOS Lampton Quay, he did the Backbenchers Phoenix shirt through a guy he knows for $150 in a glass frame. This was mates rates but on the whole i dont think it would cost much more than that.

Give me a bell if  you are interested, you would normally be looking at around 250-300 for the framing otherwise

In the mean time whilst you decide, whip into a dry cleaners and grab one of those plastic covers they put over your clothes to protect it from dust etc.

Shirt-related.

Saw a Nix shirt (signed by Tim Brown I think) being auctioned at St Theresa's fair yesterday. Only a few offers made - highest was $150 I think. wonder how much it went for (if $150 does that mean Tim Brown's sig is worth $20?)
