ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Saw this coming ages ago - review of his performance not being released until April '08, the panel conducting the interviews are the same guys that gave Henry full control to do what he wanted. They weren't about to admint that they were wrong.
 
Not a bad decision though, I think it shows we've finally grown up and are prepared to give a good team and coach to develop.

I don't care as i dont support NZ but if your asking me, then Henry is a big mistake..

Deans is in a win win situation...
 
Nz don't want him, so he will go over the ditch or stay in CHCH (doubt it though)

im fuming about this decision. just sent an email to radio sport saying i was drifting away from rugby to football and the nzru have just given me a final push. all the better for the phoenix i say

If the general NZ Rugby public are as angry about this decsion then its all good for NZ football!

I was just interviewed on the street by TV3 News, wanting my expert opinion. Told them I thought he got it wrong. Look out for a balding guy with jandal earrings in a stripey shirt.

I hope Deans goes across the Aussie now and gives us a hiding. That will teach NZRFU to re-sign our worste World Cup defeat ever.

Apparently was on Campbell Live (and I can't stand that guy), but was at the club preparing for the Phoenix game so missed it.

I like that the NZRU are trying to buck the trend of their usual "O NOES WE LOST THE WORLD CUP FIRE THE COACH!" strategy, it shows a development in maturity of the "dummy spitting egg chasers" haha. I also like that they have someone who's lost the world cup, so he knows what is at stake in terms of emotional investment.

That being said, I think Deans was the better candidate, and that not only did Henry helm the most embarassing rugby world cup campaign in NZ history, he also messed with the domestic game which is the only form of rugby I care about - a childhood of cheering for the Wallabies makes it hard to cheer for the All Blacks!

That being said - it's only rugby. I'm more concerned with the All Whites getting to 2010
