Individual footballers you would pay to watch

The Bulls of 96/97 when they went 72/10 would have been a decent side to watch. The Yankees of the early 2000s would have been a bit special to but thats all a bit off topic

Edmonton Oilers, when they had Gretzky, Fuhr, Kurri, Coffey, and pre-dickhead Messier.

Maybe we should start a thread for this?

Agreed. I'd say at least half the crowd was screaming teenage girls wanting to drool over Beckham. The other half was Phoenix fans, general punters, and actual fans of Beckham's footballing ability.

Yeah, ok so a slight exageration. My point is there were more reasons to go to the Phoenix v Galaxy game, as there was a real team involved (or at least those that survived playing the night before too).
