They don't seem to have snicko. Big shout for caught behind just now. Big sound but after it went past the bat.
Also a lbw shout yesterday, against McCullum I think. Thought there might have been an inside edge but again no snicko to check against.
Odd. Anyone know why?

How often do players get to 100 and then very soon after get out?
Still, fantastic knock, right when we needed it.

Certainly not the first time Ryder's done that. In fact I think he might have done that every time! I'm pretty sure he got out straight after his maiden hundred and straight after his double century. Not too surprising given his temperament - he can only stay restrained for so long.
Great knock regardless, when all is said and done, you just cannot leave this guy out of our side.

They're using Hawkeye though. I reckon that's dodgier than snicko.
how so?
I'd say it is way dodgier and I'm surprised they'd use it ahead of Snicko.
One records audible sounds which are fairly conclusive in determining whether there was contact with the ball and when and what kind of contact it was (sharper for bat, duller for pad, etc). Hawkeye uses technology to estimate the trajectory of a ball that's course has stopped. I'm not so sure it can really be done with 100 percent certainty, while the other can. There are a lot of variables to take into account (bounce of the pitch, for example) that could alter the trajectory. On a few occasions the trajectory projected by Hawkeye have looked a bit off to me.
