Wow got that wrong we're not even good enough to beat the bangers in a dead rubber when they're not even trying.

To be fair they are trying. Even though we're rubbish, there has been some good bowling by the bangers.

Fuck this stupid game

You're not really being serious are you. McCullum ball did nothing, Taylor beaten by a routine arm ball, poor run out.
Williamson and Ryder got good balls but both would be disappointed going out to them. whitby fever2010-10-17 21:58:57

Vettori and Elliottt are the only two who have done a damn thing, and now Vettori is gone. Not looking good, even if we only need 55 from 87 balls.

The shots that both the McCullums played in getting out were atrocious.

Three for me, and two for them.

Agree, hard to understand what they thought they were doing. Nathan McCullum mental midget, can't see what he offers more than Patel?

Awful, awful. You'd think that 175 would be an easy target.

Not for us.

Completely embarrassing. When none of your top 5 make more than 4 you know that you're in trouble.
Have just worked out that our top 5 averaged 20.45 through the series. Take out Williamsons 100 and that goes down to 15.8.
*sigh*

Was the last one the one where Stephen Fleming sledged Graeme Smith all the way onto Eden Park? If it was then that was a while ago.
Entertaining to watch though. Can't stand Graeme Smith.

no Sachin, Dhoni, Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Khan. Gives us a chance but takes a bit of the excitement away for me at least.

Shows that some countries (unlike us) actually give a f**k about test cricket, rather than meaningless one day series that no-one remembers the day after they are over.

I think people will remember the Bangladesh series for a very long time.

Three for me, and two for them.

Some people like myself prefer to watch ODI matches instead of test matches. I just don't have the time to keep up with a test.

I was over it after a couple of days. Just another meaningless one day series. If we do that in tests however...

Good to see Guptill, Patel and Arnel make it, would have liked to see Franklin back in mix.

Southee really needs to fulfil potential and add a bit of consistency.

Franklin......... Are we going to go through another summer of this?!

Has anyone read the story about Michael Clarke and Ricky Pontings face being projected onto the side of Big Ben with a message saying don't forget to pack the urn....? Seems like an strange display of patriotism from the people that run Big Ben. Wondering if the story was a wind up

Franky isn't even training at the moment so he's probably injured. I'd be surprised if he made the team again but you never know how low down the pecking order they'll get to over the summer. Sinclair last season for example

Fuck this stupid game

People criticise Sinclair often but I'd rather them keep giving him chances then have the current f**kwits losing to Bangladesh and having no ramifications.

Wasn't he over in Zimbabwe for NZ A? I think I remember he was doing well. Would like to see him in our test line up, as he can take wickets, and is a good lower middle order batsman, but he should stay away from the one day stuff, goes for far to many runs in that form.

it pains me that the likes of sinclair and franklin are getting mentioned as we head into a summer of cricket

Ummm... won't you be at the game? Or have you picked up a recent injury?

Yep I will be playing, just curious as to whether it would be available for those in New Zealand to watch

I'd rather not watch us lose by a record innings margin.

Three for me, and two for them.
