How many overs do you think Martin will bowl on the trot???
match fixing anyone......come on I know it's tough to get those 37 yr old bodies to bat properly after almost 2 days in the field, but please! to bat that poorly is just weak!
Highly doubt it - I'm sure I heard some point that during the commentary that Suresh Raina had signed an endorsement deal or contract or something worth $7 million over the next couple of years - so to bribe the entire Indian batting line up team you would need some serious dosh. Otherwise there is not a lot of point in them doing it - unlike the Pakistani team, which is paid a tiny amount by proportion.
To be honest, anything over 150 I'm not convinced we can get. We need to get Laxman early, he is the key in all this.

Harbahjan top-scored for the Indians during the match...we just can't have that happening...but I guess you could understand it (with the bowlers getting tired).
Still we earned a very credible draw - dug in with the bat, gave them a huge scare in the second-innings.
Regarding McIntosh, it's one thing trying to occupy the crease, but he's a very limited scorer and that creates pressure at the other end. Guptill is a chance for the second test, though he struggled against India back home last year.
Would also love O'Brien back in the side, but that ain't happening.

earned? we were gifted that by some shocking batting from the indians
What part of dug in with the bat didn't you understand? We would of drawn even if they hadn't had a top order collapse. Fully earned and deserved draw.
Three for me, and two for them.
