Hopefully we can get 20 for the last wicket and push it over the 400 run lead mark. We are still in the prime position here.
Auckland will rise once more

Given that the list below is the number of successful 400+ run chases in the history of test cricket, it is a bit pessimistic to think India are in the box seat, but they do have a chance.

We're talking about cricket here vader. McCullum is more than just a batsmen to this side.
This is why I love Test Cricket, the ebb and flow. 50/50 at the moment. If India get through to Lunch 1 or 2 down, then game on. Looking forward to seeing Pujara bat, Rohit Sharma is in good form as well. Ideal outcome Pujara scores a century and NZ win......this will be a cracking game!!
Went along today. Shami and Khan were just on fire today, so were India's fielders. Sometimes you just have to give the opposition credit. India have all the momentum right now though, we will need a breakthrough early tomorrow or it will start looking quite bad.
Three for me, and two for them.

Remember McCullum getting called a moron after this one as well.

If our bowlers had their tails up and they can't bat on grass how come they're 87/1? Nothing to do with the bowlers not being fresh eh?
The difference there was he enforced the follow on and we won. Perhaps our bowlers didn't have their head up after watching that collapse and actually having to bat and concentRate in a very short space of time? The coach deserves a rocket if we lose this one.

Back at ya vader re football chat. Regularly wrong but no one can be bothered debating with you because you just give it death and it just goes in circles. Boring
Grumpy old bastard alert

Sorry but never understood things like this. History is important but has no context to the two teams playing right now, the pitch, the conditions, the momentum either side holds, etc....
Anyway we need a wicket or two fast or this is as good as gone.
