Torne, maccas would be last resort. as would supermarkets.

I;ve done a coffee course through school so hopefully i can use that to my advantage

Note to snobby kids wanting flash jobs: take whatever you can. Get some experience. You are f*cking useless at your age I'm afraid...

But on the positive side - you are miles ahead of your lazy donkey mates who aren't doing anything.

Yeap every cafe has a different coffee machine which is different i went on a cousre came back to the cafe and couldnt even work the basterd useless!

i've got a list of 29 places i'm going to in and ask for jobs/forms

from the post office, to super market to hallenstiens to subway!

heres hoping :)

Try a video store. I got a job at Video Ezy and it's great. The pay is $4.80 per hour more than my last job (admittedly due to law changes since then). You get discounted junk food plus free movies. It's hardly strenuous either. Usually you can have a good laugh with customers. Added to that I get half-priced pizza at my one (though that would differ from store to store).

I'm 24 with a son and a wife. Ive had 4 years working for LTNZ and other organisations (was a data analyst for a while), but could only get a job at Maccas for the summer.

So i start there today. not ideal, but it means my family can pay rent and buy food. kids don't know how good they've got it

Go to your local hospital and ask to join the Casual Pool, (you cover roster shortages as a support worker), good money, the job is fairly easy to pick up as a Support Worker and you can choose you hours. You can work in the general side or mental health side. You may actually pick up some useful skills too.

Far better money than working in McDonalds. Also you may meet some nice people.

Or do what I did during the school holidays when I was a spotty teenager.

Be a baker.

All the fun of being awake at 2 o'clock in the morning, and getting paid $8 an hour at the same time.
