Doesn't comparing a Party/person to Nazis who are nothing like the actual Nazis really belittle what the Nazis actually did?
If you were living in Germany or even Europe at the time the Nazis were in power, you'd be praying like f**k to live anywhere else, and to have Austn politicians in power.
Austn politicians are terrible in many ways, but be f**king reasonable.

So both failing to recognize this and giving a free pass to the Politicians who turned a blind eye to it (or in fact did very well out of it) indicates an apathy and cynicism far beyond "reasonable".
most politicians appear to be terrible in many ways. In any supposed Democracy it's important to call too account those in power and speak truthfully at each opportunity. Besides it's all very well for Downer to have a go at Rudd, IMO part of the game, what I want to see is the Australian Media present exactly what sort of 'Man' is issuing the charges against Rudd.
