I was in a shop today buying some music, and being a student my card declined. Surprised, I asked the shop assistant to hold the item and I went to the bank, and had a look at my balance and found my self about $2 short.
So I went back to the store to ask them to hold the items til tomorrow. And to my absolute delight the man in the shop told me another customer had overheard and left $20 to go towards the CD's.
Unfortunetly I didn't get the chance to thank the man as he had already left, but, in the off-chance he's on yf I figured I'd tell the story here!
So....thanks!

It's always good to hear a good story amongst all the negative ones these days.
Not wanting to blow my own trumpet but during the summer I took the kids to the Botanical Gardens playground. While walking up to the Cable Car we found a digital camera under a park bench. I thought it was too far to go to the Central Police station, so I handed it in to the Cable Car Museum office. Well, later on, just by chance, while eating an ice cream at the top of the cable car, I overheard a very happy woman talking on her mobile saying that someone had handed in their camera!! I didn't jump up & say it was me who found it. I was just happy knowing that she had got the camera back. The camera could've recorded happy memories of a holiday in the best city in the world - Wellington.

I found a digital camera once and decided to keep it. A bit later, I overheard a women on a mobile phone in tears about how she'd lost her camera and it contained some very special photos that she hadn't backed up (daughters wedding, family reunion, etc). I took a photo of her.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

My mate lost his wallet somewhere in Wellington city, most probably at the ROF or backbencher, and someone handed it in to the cops and he got it delivered all the way back up here. Wouldve never happened in Auckland.
Thankyou if that person is on here :)

On that subject of Auckland, something i never expected to see up here last week was someone do a similar deed when i lost my boots in the timezone in the city centre. Me being a dumb sh*te forgot them whilst i was playing and was horrified when i realized i'd lost them (being brand new $140 boots i brought that day). Thankfully, some kind soul returned them behind the counter and i was able to happily get them back.
Three for me, and two for them.
