Archimedis.

Not sure, but Marx claimed offside, perhaps he got a booking for this.

Wasn't it Beckenbaeur?

From memory it wasn't a philosopher at all but a real football player and he was looked down on as the worst player.  That or my memory put that in my head - haven't seen it for years and years.

Haha Beckenbauer was on the pitch - a surprise inclusion, but it wasnt him

Which club had the most players at the WC in 2006?

Top 3 leagues that had the most players from them for the WC 2006 in order?

Also what was unique about the semi-finals of WC 2006?

(Try to make an honest answer e.g not Google it...)wellyphoenixfan2009-12-09 18:37:18

I'll go Arsenal or Chelsea for most players.

And it was unique because it was all Euro semi's.

Three for me, and two for them.

Top Leagues - Premier League, French Ligue 1 ? Italian Serie A ?

Spain has heaps of homegrown players, or compared to England. But 4th guess would be Spanish Primera.

In the all-star team of the 2002 World Cup Oliver Kahn was first choice goalie, who was second-choice goalie?
Permalink Permalink

Can't be Dida he wasn't even first choice.

I'll go Rustu.

Nathan Burns.

That Perth bloke who scored from 30 yards against Newcastle in the 1-0 win on a Friday night. Something-ich.

I'll hazard a guess at John Hutchison.
