Mugabe loses it!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Man's a lunatic.

Went to Zimbabwe a few years ago. Had a great time. Did the whole chasing lions about, paddling canoes past hippos and crocs, Vic Falls, staying in big flash hotels thing. Had a great time, ended up costing me next to f**k all. Go figure.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Would cost you a lot more these day with inflation topping 1,000,000% this year.

That's the point, their economy was so buggered if you went there from overseas it cost you next to nowt. We tipped the maid a few quid and it was a fortune as far as she was concerned. Very bizarre

What a nutjob! sounded like a legit question if you ask me, on what basis do you consider yourself the pres of Zimbabwe. Mugabe's answer on the other hand was a little vague, "on the same basis that Brown considers himself prime minister of Zimbabwe"  What a clown, it wasn't till after his answer that he got abusive and all defensive, I reckon its cos he'd just made an arse of himself.

can't run a car on diamonds, and there are plenty of those sparkly things around anyway, don't the big diamond producers already hoard them away so they can keep the price high. If only oil was so easy to find.....

Have you seen Blood Diamond? The film with Leo DiCaprio and the lovely Labyrinth star Jennifer Connolly. It's about the diamond industry, good flick, made me cry.
why buy diamonds anyway? cubic zirconias look the same and are way cheaper!

I think America should do something, but then if they do everyone would support them at first and five years down the track the anti-americanism would begin.

Similar thing's happening now methinks.

Well said loyalgunner.
The fact is, Mugabe needs taking out. The UN have been totally gutless over this whole episode and no one nation seems to want to take responsibility (check out South africa's "head in the sand" approach to it all). So it will probably be up to someone's Black Ops to do it. I think the world has been waiting for him to die, and he's just kept going to the point where the damage done (not to mention all the human atrocities) has just become too great. Kill him now.
Someone said to me the other day "just who does Mugabe think he is?". "I'll tell you who he thinks he is, check out his half moustache? Remind you of anyone" I said.

I work with a lot of Zimbabwe fellas and only 1 out of the lot of them actually support him. And yes, they are all coloureds that I work with.

Without giving too much away to protect his identity but I understand he actually had something to do their political scene.

Oh dear, so he's been an insider and still stands by him? Unbelievable. I could question why he's here then, but I think it's best left alone...TheJam2008-07-02 07:19:22

Only if the US created false evidence claiming that Zimbabwe had WMD and link with Al Qaeda

I think it would be more interesting to watch what happens if Mugabe get assasinated.
