According to a recent interview, former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has hinted at a possible return to the ring for a third fight with 4-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield. Although at first glance it may appear as though Mike Tyson is eager to throw his name back into the heavyweight mix, a closer examination of the interview reveals that it may be nothing more than an attempt to make some quick cash. When asked whether or not he would be interested in possibly fighting Evander Holyfield later this year, Tyson stated, "Sometimes I say yeah it is and sometimes I say it isn't. I'm in one of those up in the air moments. It's something I want to do; it all depends on how many tickets [or millions] are involved."

Tyson went on to reveal that despite the fact it may appear he is on an upswing now that he is working on a movie and autobiography, he's actually still pretty down and the money doesn't come in as fast as it did in the fight business. Regardless Tyson is steadfast in the belief that he can make another run as he states,"I think I am going to go at it hard one more time." Tyson continued,"I just want to get in the gym for 3 months and then see how I feel about it." Regarding Holyfield, Tyson said that "he's the guy for me to fight and I can always get up to fight him. He's the kind of fight that could make me have an affair for boxing again. I don't know if I will fall in love with boxing again, but I am ready to have a love affair for a few months." Whether he's more interested in making another run or in it for a paycheck remains to be seen. But one thing is clear, Mike Tyson is still the most intriguing attraction.

So. Anyone willing to bet on what part of Holyfield's anatomy Tyson will bite this time round?

Three for me, and two for them.

he only bit him cause holfyfield was getting away with headbutting (did it all the first fight), which is a tactic holyfield has used his whole career. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3oyrq4Q5gM

tyson was a shadow of the 85-90 version but still shouldve beat him both times.

id only want to see it if tyson took it seriously or it would be just anopther embarrassment for his career.

Holyfield would own Tyson - he'd just have to stay out of Tyson's way for the 1st 3 rounds

Poor Mr Tyson, always wanting that rematch, always dreaming he can be king again, shame he blew an awesome career with some really dumb moves!

Queenslander 3x a year.

i'd like to see Tyson get into MMA - imagine Tyson in a cage?!!! he'd be running on instinct alone, which is when he'd be at his most dangerous one would think.

Tyson vs ???? i dunno......Liddell? Ortiz? not sure of what weight class he'd be in......

dont know how good he would be with all the grappling and kicking and that though. have any boxers have successfully made the switch to mma?

i know fancois botha tried k1 but was pretty bad, he sucked at boxing anyway though.

tysons like 100kg fighting weight so what would that be in mma? heavyweight i presume?
he would be a beast though it would be a brave man to step up and fight him in any sort of fight.

as a side note the guy brock lesnar who used to be in wwe does mma now, not sure if he's any good though.

he has a 1-0 record, a submission in the 1st round (1.09) against Min Soo Kim.......so yeah not sure if hes any good!

I remember a guy at Polytech who reckoned he could go 10 round with David Tua.......reckoned his tactic would be just to cover up his face and hit tua when he was tired.......don't worry about the vicious left hook to the ribs tho.....lol

Tua would still hit the guy's arms/gloves into his face and knock him out...reminds me of a hilarious clip on you tube that's meant to be serious (it's by "expert village") - it explains how to survive a knife fight by shielding your face and neck with your arm while crouched down and dance around, then counter attack you would've lost so much blood by then...
