I've never understood why anyone watches this. even the ads make me cringe as these are exactly the sort of people we'd all hate to have as neighbours - lol you cd interchange them with anyone on that programme noise control

Outrageous Fortune is great.

Better than any other NZ drama, why? The actors don't suck. (*cough* Shortland Street *cough*)

It's a good show. I'll watch. This is the final season, correct?

First season I didn't watch the first half cos I thought the ads weren't really me. Started watching after that, ridiculously addictive, give it a shot SK! Last season's cliff-hanger ending was sensational. The beauty of the show (I think) is that the characters are built so well that you could understand the situations happening to them, fark it's just awesome. Can't wait!

Outrageous Fortune doesn't interest me, but I see the concept was sold to the Americans & they have produced their own version of the same name, typical.  I was on TV3 Nightline a while back.  From what I could see from the news item the Westie lifestyle doesn't seem to be the same in the US.

They introduced it in the US as a "new and original programme"

Allegedly

Their are some decent actors on Shorty... but there's also some very very average stuff.

Have you noticed how the ex-Shorty's are so much cooler on OF. Case in point Claire Chitham as Aurora. Waverley never would have looked as good in black underwear.

Bailey Wilson is played by Sophie Henderson according to the outrageous fortune website.

I thought she actually was a girl who lived in Palmerston North in the mid-90's who was known as Bailey.

Because of Robyn Malcolm's involvement with the Actors Guild during the Hobbit issue I wonder if the ratings of this show would fall? Is it on at the moment or is it between seasons? I've heard on radio that Malcolm & Ward-Lealand have been abused in public.
