Is it just me or does anyone else think that the idea of a "Green" Taxi is farken stupid considering the effort and rescources required to obtain all the materials to make the vehicles components?

Farken Smelly Hippies should learn that cars aren't causing Global Warming it's their own stench from not bathing!

What's all this about. What have the weed smoking, sandal wearing, tofu eating, unicycle riding tree hugging b**tards been up to now. Jag2008-01-14 09:21:37

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Think the taxis themselves look really uncomfortable too. I've never understood why we (NZ) have to be market leaders in being green? its nout out 4 million ppl killing the world its the billions of Chinese and Americans burning all the oil and killing the world!

I caught one during December on one of my many Pre-Xmas binges and I'll grab one again.

Ignoring the whole hippy thing, the cost of my trip home in the green cab was around 20% cheaper than my normal journey, plus my driver was of Croatian extraction and happy to talk Phoenix the whole way (although my recollection is blurry).

How's my driving? - Whine here

AS for it being 20% Cheaper you were probably 1/5th closer to you home when you were picked up!

Yeah, but someone has to take some initiative. 4 Million people can still have a big effect on the environment, and if everyone here did their part to help the environment then we'd be a hellluva lot better off. Then we work on campaigning for the world super powers like China, America to cut down on their pollution and waste.

and you're worrying about the taxi looking uncomfortable?!

Everyone knows it's the farting cows who are at fault and they should have to foot the bill to fix it!
