Shooting the messenger...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Excuse the French but what the F*C* does the US expect to achieve by "calling for him to stop" I mean really, thats like a wealthy guy from Thorndon walking up to a drug addict on the street breaking into a car and saying "I call upon you to stop", the guys going to look at him sideways and keep going...

Moving away from bombing them threaten them with political sanctions, remove trade opportunities, ban them from involvement in multi-lateral institutes...something other than "bad call"

"At a press conference, Zambian President Rupiah Banda condemned the Post for circulating what he called pornography."

And it goes on the logic that evil dictators care about the well being of their populations.

Trade Sanctions are fail with a capital F.

Diplomacy, negotiations and revolutions are the only way forward unfortunately.

But you do cut dictators off at the knees. They end up with less resources to utilise, and as a result are unable to keep the military on their side as much!
