Funny thing happened to me on the way to the dairy the other day. A rather curious young woman if the tattoo I have on my arm, which coincidently is the Traditional Chinese character for "Phoenix" asked me if I got it because the footy team is named after the famous bird of fire. Thankfully i was able to say "no" I've had the tattoo for two years now, it goes with the one on my other arm which is the character for "dragon".

odd, but an interesting little story I felt.

anyone out there have simalr odd little stories???

What does the chinese symbol for Phoenix look like?

nope not Welsh, kiwi born and bred! Always had a thing for Dragons and Phoenis, like the tradition behind them as well. Chinese mythology has a pairing of the dragon and phoenix as bring good luck and fortune. theprof2007-09-27 14:05:31

ive got an eagles wing going up my left forearm - its pretty large and detailed.

got 2 others as well.

I've got 6 tatts. All very boring really, my kids names on my forearms are about the most exciting (and newest). Have planned to get the Partick Thistle badge done for ages but I dunno where yet. Could get a huge one on my fat a**e, I s'pose.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Know a guy back home who went for a tattoo when he was on shore leave with the Royal Navy in some far off Asian country ,after being on the grog all day he was pretty pissed and spent about half an hour trying to explain to this tattooist that he wanted a thistle on his chest and desperately trying to describe what a thistle looked like ,anyway to cut a long and very painful story short he blacked out during the tattoo only to wake up several hours later with a huge pineapple tattooed on his chest with the words bonwee scootlund underneath it!!
ouch!

(remember kids a tattoos not just for x.mas its for life!!)

i have most of my body covered in tattoos,lady getting beheaded,queen of england having sex with corgi,guy frying in electric chair,and much to much to explain.
