If anyones surprised they need to get there head read, It was quite funny watching the delayed TCGW in the lunch brake and them predicting exactly what happened.

Bloody frustrating watching the NZ batsman just throw the bat at the ball with minimal foot movement if any.

Well batted by Kallis, a shame that he couldn't make it to the double ton

Ive been crying out to the selectors for ages to bring back sinclair and vincent! cumming an papps are pretty average... however.... the best player tht NZ has ever seen is Craig McMillan

I dont know why south africa didnt give Hashim Amla a chance to get his double century..... they would have still had plenty of time to get us all out???

that performance was a disgrace. we collectively have no idea how to play off the back foot or how to deal with bounce. bring in vincent and skippy, i agree

Sinclair will never get to play for the kiwis - according to Martin Crowe he doesn't listen or learn. although with a score of 240 odd I have no idea what he needs to improve on?

Queenslander 3x a year.

yeah definately! i think that nz cricket just cant quite believe that they finally have a brilliant batter that is not afraid to speak his mind... if they really dont like the idea of sinclair then maybe they oughta go across the ditch and pinch hussey or jaques off the aussies... today they both just knotched up their back to back test tonnes

33.5 Steyn to Cumming, no run, ouch! Steyn flattens Cumming with another snorter of a short delivery, dug in on middle and leg and as he swivels to pull, he's felled as it sneaks in and clangs him on the visor. Cumming is down in second as everyone, Steyn right in front, rushes to attend to him. He was hit flush in the cheek and there's a good amount of blood. Very nasty. Off goes Cumming now with a towel to his right cheek.

Our batting is a shambles, and without Bond in the attack the bowling we'll be flogged too. The way we're going right now beating Bangladesh will be difficult.

Another inspiring performance. Perhpas some serious wage cuts are in order? I'm sick of the lacklustre performances of the last 10-15 years when players get to choose if they want to  play against certain opposition or not. When players grab the money but dont play with the same commitment. Too many pretty boys whom think they are better than they are.

And whilst dropping this balless lot can someone lose that twat Sonny Shaw somewhere?? You know him, that prat that has th flags waving around and always tries to get himself on TV. Even the Cameramen try to avoid him. Come to think of it, The Black Caps turned into the Black Twats around the same time as he started to annoy the sh*t out of fans world wide. If he ever waved those flags in front of me, I'd snap them in half and stick 'em where the sun don't shine.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Typically the English are in love with the man and treat him like we actually want him!!!

The Daily Star wrote:
Passion for his nation's sport takes Sonny Shaw across the globe. Having toured 22 countries since he started following New Zealand's teams in 1989 Shaw arrived to a new destination -- Bangladesh -- on Monday.

"This is my 75th Test match, I have already watched 161 one-dayers as well," said the 54-year-old from Auckland.

"I started touring with the rugby national team when they went to Canada in 1989 and I also love to see women's netball. But cricket is my favourite and this is my 13th cricket tour," he added.

An accountant by profession, Shaw always carries a huge New Zealand flag, the flag of his country's cricket board and a Kiwi puppet holding a cricket bat and a rugby ball in its hands. Shaw calls it his 'Lucky Chum'.

"I am grateful to my boss who lets me take leaves for foreign trips. I love mixing with the crowd. Indian crowd are the best," said the man who could be mistaken for Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore at times.

It is his early days in Dhaka but Shaw has already become aware of one of the notorious features of the capital city.

"I've seen the traffic jams here but I am lucky that the stadium is within walking distance of my hotel."

Shaw and his 66-year-old friend Bill Read, who only watches Test cricket, will be heading for Chittagong too for the second match.

Recollecting some of his most memorable moments following international cricket, Shaw picked out his only trip to the Caribbean in 1996.

"I became friends with Brian Lara after he scored a hundred against us. I had gifted a US$ 100 bill to Stephen Fleming for scoring his maiden one-day century during one game in that series. I was having a beer with them that day and I promised Lara a hundred dollars too if he could score a century the next day. He made 167 not out and I ran on to the ground to put 100 dollars into his pocket.

"Nathan Astle scored successive Test centuries in that series but I only exchanged handshakes with him because I ran out of money," grinned Shaw who has never missed a New Zealand Test over the last 15 years.
