new coach seems to have instilled a bit of fight into the lads - looking really good so far! very early in the piece but this is totally our year!
That second half was probably the most composed I've ever seen a Warriors side. Down by 14 points, man in the sin bin & yet didn't panic. They kept to the game plan and got back into it.

All the club had to do was not look like a dumpster fire for 20 mins and RTS came a knocking.

ALways knew RTS would be back, it was really just a matter of if he managed to make the AB's squad consistently. I guess he has seen the writing on the wall and realised he is at best a 50/50 shot of making the RWC squad for France this year. Warriors have looked better without him - maybe reliying less on one man and working as a team for once? Charnze Nicol-Klokstad is doing a great job at full back, I hope for his sake RTS isn't expecting to walk back into the starting lineup.

Knights will be tough, they are on a 10 match streak so will be confident as hell. Hopefully warriors will have SJ back and he can do what he does.

I'd love to see the Warriors upset the apple cart and stop that 10 game streak of the Knights.

NRL draw out. Warriors play in Sydney twice on the same day as the Nix play in NSW, so no double headers available for away trips.

Entry in 2028. The approval of PNG team in the NRL has reaches far beyond just sport. Also explains why an Australian team(s) is on the table for the new proposed OFC professional football league.

PNG will join the NRL on the back of a $750 million cash injection from the Australian government ($600m) and the PNG government ($150m).

Behind PNG’s pending entry is also a security agreement to ensure the continuing strategic trust between the two countries that will not be made public.

While Mr Marape said China would remain a “great trading partner,” PNG had made a “deliberate choice to have Australia as a security partner”.

“In security, closer to home, we have the synergy and our shared territory needs to be protected, defended, policed … and in that context, we make this call, and the NRL commercial system fits in neatly with it,” he said.

Oh and Perth will be next to get a NRL club after PNG. No real talk in Australia of a 2nd NZ team (Christchurch). That's really just a Graham Lowe, Frank Endacott pipedream thought bubble, at the moment.

V’landys also provided clarity on Perth’s bid to enter the competition.

“The Western Australian situation is still progressing,” he told reporters.

“We’re having some very positive discussions with the Western Australian government and we’re hopeful in the next two to three weeks we can announce a further side, but at the moment we’re just waiting on a response from the WA government.”
