Well, I think Rojas is a very promising player. Paston made some crucial saves, and we dominated the game. 3-1 didn't really reflect the balance of the game. Ifill, while, he didn't score, looked a threat as ever and came close at the end. Big Mac made his best impact in a while, and he scored! Pretty stoked there. Thought Lia put himself about well, Muscat is the bees knees in midfield.

Awesome thread.
Think there are some promising signs from the side on attack. Hopefully they don't get too demoralized by the result and focus on the performance they put in,and try to replicate it for the rest of the season.
Would be interested to know how much of the game we were in their half!

Exactly, if they ignore the scoreline somewhat there are plenty of positives to take from that game. A few things to work on but we created a lot of chances and if we do that with Joel Griffiths leading the line I think we could score a lot of goals from January onwards.

Really good last night. Unlucky to be hit on the break, they were just a bit more clinical but plenty of good signs. I'm liking the attacking subs too. Greenie, Bic Mac and Rojas (who is looking lively as fk). Onwards and upwards!

The fact that when we looked like getting humped at the beginning of the second half we managed to turn around and play somewhat attacking football, with no more goals against. It was a positive.
